One Week Transplant Coordinators’ Training Programme, Jaipur

Updated on Friday, August 19, 2016
  • Under the aegis of National Organ and Tissue Transplant Organization (NOTTO), Navjeevan - MFJCF (MOHAN Foundation Jaipur Citizen Forum) is pleased to announce its One Week Transplant Coordinators' Training from September 12 -16, 2016 (Mon - Fri) in association with SMS Medical College and Hospital, Jaipur.

The success of organ donation and transplantation depends upon good counseling and coordination by transplant coordinators. The Transplantation of Human Organs (Amendment) Act, 2011, has made the appointment of Transplant Coordinator mandatory before a hospital is registered as a transplant centre. This means there is a huge requirement of transplant coordinators in close to 400 transplant centres in the country.

In order to meet the growing demand for Transplant Coordinators, MOHAN Foundation has embarked upon training programmes to suit the needs of these health care professionals. We have conducted several training programmes in the country and trained 1183 transplant coordinators over the past seven years.

Sessions will be conducted by eminent speakers and experienced professionals of the medical fraternity including experience sharing by transplant coordinators who have made it happen!

We invite applications from doctors, nurses, social workers, patient coordinators, dialysis technicians, PR managers, hospital administrators, psychologists, sociologists and public health professionals to avail this unique opportunity.

Certificate of the training programme will be given to candidates who attend the entire programme, and have passed the written test, which will be conducted on the last day of the training programme.
