MOHAN Foundation is a knowledge partner for the NDTV FORT "More to Give"- a campaign focusing on sensitizing the nation about the need onnf stepping up to donate organs for saving lives.
This 75-day campaign would work towards building greater awareness about the low rate of organ donation compared to a high rate of requirement for organ transplants in our country and it would include On Air Programming, Ground events and extensive Web coverage.
As part of this, an event was organized at DLF Place Mall at Saket, New Delhi on August 6, 2016 from 1100-1500 hours. There were experts answering queries on organ donation and its process. Fun activity like painting competition for children was also organized and children from Venkateshwar Global School, Delhi took part in it.
Ms. Pallavi Kumar (Executive Director, MOHAN Foundation-Delhi-NCR) adjudged the entries and distributed gifts to the prize-winning entries. She also addressed the students on the important role they play in creating awareness on organ donation amongst their peers.
