The Shashi Khandelwal Memorial trust has been organizing blood camp for the past 17 years and this year they wanted to spread awareness for organ donation. They invited Navjeevan Team on 13th October 2016 to set an awareness stall on organ donation during their camp. Dr. Anita Hada Sangwan, Captain Amarjeet Sangwan, Mrs. Bhavna Jagwani, Mrs. Sujata Baheti, Mr. Prajesh Taneja and Roshan Bahadur represented MFJCF.
On behalf of Navjeevan team Dr. Anita Hada Sangwan and Mrs. Sujata Baheti described the concept of organ donation and requested people to pledge their organs to save someone’s life. After the speech 20 people filled the pledge form, took the donor card and got a photograph clicked the message board “I SUPPORT ORGAN DONATION”
It was a very good experience to set an awareness stall in a place where committed people came to donate their blood voluntarily.
