MOHAN Foundation, Nagpur Center, conducted deceased organ donation awareness program by setting a Stall at the Out Patient Department in Government Medical College, Nagpur on 4th January 2016. This program was for patients and relatives who visit the OPD of the College. Ms. Kanchan Shewde & Mr. Bulu Behera, transplant coordinators gave information on organ donation.
He stressed the importance of understanding Brain death and of organ donation. They also explained the type of death and processes of Eye donation & Body donation.
They informed about MOHAN foundation activities & requested to use MOHAN foundation website and helpline number for more information. 20 people visited the stalla and 2 of them signed the consent form and took donor card.
The following questions were asked.

2. Whom to contact for eye donation?
2. Any help MOHAN for kidney transplant?
3. How many Organ transplant center in Nagpur?
4. How many waiting list for kidney transplant?
