  • A family gets together but with a difference!

Visakhapatnam’s upcoming builder, Patchigolla Srikanth, Managing Partner, ASKA with his family members and friends got together on the evening of 9th March 2018 to understand more about ‘Organ Donation.’ To help them was Prof Suryakumari Duggirala, Founder-President, The ALPS, Chennai who is, among many other things, the Faculty for HR-OB and Soft Skills for MOHAN Foundation’s Transplant Coordinators’ Training Programme. She is also a prominent Faculty of Economics and English in Amity, IMU, IIKM and ITM, TIME in Chennai and is involved in several NGO ventures.

ASKA has completed four projects in Visakhapatnam and is making its presence felt as a builder that places family values, traditions and ethics as utmost priority.  ASKA that translates to Arogyam Sreyasam Kalyanam Arpitaastu with a tagline, “Usher in the rays of hope and love into homes built with a heart” is a humble beginning of Ex-IT executives Kalyani and Srikanth.

Prof Suryakumari Duggirala started the interactive lecture with an activity. The lecture was continuously interjected with innumerable queries and clarifications. She said that the role of society was very important in promoting this noble cause where one human body can save nine lives at a time. The positive transformation has to come from society that will help build this effort more, for which awareness is very essential. At the end of the lecture 31 participants pledged to donate their organs.

In all, it was a very unique family get-together where the members of Patchigolla, Duggirala, Darisi and Cheruku families along with ASKA executives, the sponsors, gathered to discuss key social causes like organ donation.
