MOHAN Foundation welcomed and felicitated The Cause Travelers couple on completion of their mission on creating awareness about Organ Donation

  • On 30th April 2022, Rotary Club Navi Mumbai Sunrise invited MOHAN Foundation to Welcome and Felicitate The Cause Travelers couple- Mr. Shekhar Chilana and Namita  Dutta on their completion of Organ Donation Awareness Campaign from Kashmir to Kanyakumari, which covered 28 states and 8 Union territories in 142 days.

    The event began with welcoming Mr and Mrs. Chilana, followed by National Anthem. Thereafter Mr and Mrs. Chilana shared their journey of their campaign in creating awareness about organ donation. They also discussed their challenges in completion of this journey during COVID. Heartwarming stories of families who donated the organs of their loved ones was displayed. Around 50 members were present in this event.

    They also shared their experience in creating awareness about organ donation along with MOHAN Foundation’s team in different parts of the country like Mumbai, Nagpur, Kerala, Bangalore, Jaipur, Chennai and so on and thanked MOHAN Foundation for their continuous support.

    Dr. Mohan Chandravarkar, Gynaecologist and Obstetrician, Dr. Rahul Gupta Senior Cardiologist were the guests for the day, they spoke a few words about organ donation and explained about how a Brain dead person can save many lives and congratulated The Cause Travelers for their determination on completion of this campaign.

    Ms. Rashmi Shetty from MOHAN Foundation was welcomed to the dais to speak a few words. She congratulated Mr and Mrs Chilana on their safe and successful completion of their mission on creating awareness about organ donation and felicitated them with a certificate of appreciation.

    The Rotary club team and The Cause Travelers team thanked Ms. Rashmi Shetty for welcoming the Cause Travelers and felicitating them.
