On September 25, 2023, MOHAN Foundation conducted an organ donation session for the students of The Universal School, Mumbai. The session was part of a month-long campaign (September-October) organised by The Times of India (TOI) in collaboration with Kokilaben Dhirubhai Ambani Hospital in different schools in Mumbai. MOHAN Foundation is TOI’s knowledge partner, and this partnership is a decade old.
Apart from the organ donation talk, a drawing competition was also organized in which 150 students from different classes participated.
School students and teachers were made aware of the importance of organ donation, how to keep the organs healthy, what the functions of the organs are, etc. The students were responsive and curious to know more about organ donation.
