MOHAN Foundation takes the Organ Donation message to Auto Drivers – Day 4

  • MOHAN Foundation conducted its fourth session of awareness talks for auto drivers in Chennai on October 16th 2018. Mr Amal Antony Augustian, Intern from MMM College of Health Sciences approached auto drivers near Nungambakkam railway station. Information brochures, green ribbons and donor cards were distributed among them. Mr Amal explained the concepts of organ donation also clarified doubts.

    Stickers that contain the helpline number of MOHAN Foundation were also distributed to them. 5 drivers agreed to support the cause by pasting the stickers on the back of their auto rickshaws. They were each gifted a ‘Proud to be an Organ Donor’ badge for supporting this social cause. MOHAN Foundation thanks the auto drivers for participating in this initiative.
