On 5th February, 2017, MOHAN Foundation was invited by Mr. Nagarajan Iyer, Member, GIANTS Group of Kalyan Metro to set up an awareness stall for organ donation at Sai Chowk, Kalyan as a part of Ganesh Jayanti celebrations.
People who approached the stall were explained the facts, barriers and myths in relation with organ donation. Many of their queries were satisfactorily addressed at the stall.
Around 23 people signed up the donor card and were given informative brochures.
We wish to convey our sincerest thanks to the GIANTS Group of Kalyan Metro, especially Mr. Nagarajan Iyer, Mr.Shashi Sharma, President, Dr. S.P.Kakarmath, Mr.Vijay Bapat and Ms.Rashmi Mahajan, President, GIANTS Youth Wing for committing themselves and furthering the cause of organ donation.
