


MOHAN Foundation received the NGO Leadership Award in the Tamil Nadu Leadership Awards 2019 category instituted by World CSR Day, a for-purpose organization, founded by Dr. R L Bhatia. World CSR day and World Sustainability were instituted by Dr. R. L. Bhatia, a practicing Human Resources Professional, to encourage CSR activities and measure impacts.
The award is endorsed by World Federation of CSR Professionals, a not-for-profit that aims to make a real difference to the HR community, business and the economy. MOHAN Foundation received the award at an event on 16th December 2019, held at Taj Connemara, Chennai. The event was a prelude to the World CSR Day celebrations set to take place in February 2020 at Mumbai.
Business leaders, entrepreneurs, women leaders and leading NGOs were recognized for their work and contributions towards a sustainable future. Dr. Hemal Kanvinde represented MOHAN Foundation and in her acceptance speech she briefly mentioned the work MOHAN Foundation does and dedicated the award to all the organ donors and their families. Other NGOs awarded were – ChildLine India Foundation, Aide et Action and Environment Foundation of India.
