


MOHAN Foundation participated and presented at the 15th Congress of the International Society for Organ Donation and Procurement (ISODP) held from November 14-16, 2019 in Dubai, United Arab Emirates and hosted by the Saudi Center for Organ Transplantation and the Emirates Medical Association Nephrology Society. The Congress was attended by Dr. Sunil Shroff (Managing Trustee), Mrs. Lalitha Raghuram (Country Director) and Ms. Pallavi Kumar (Executive Director)
The mission of the International Society for Organ Donation and Procurement (ISODP) is to foster, promote and develop all aspects of organ and tissue donation and procurement. The ultimate aim is to increase the supply of high quality organs and tissue to match the need. It is the sole global professional organization focused exclusively on developing deceased donation programs to support the ever-growing need for organ transplantation.
Mrs. Lalitha Raghuram presented on “Utilizing Metro station for Organ Donation Awareness – a first ever initiative in India” and “Organ Donation made possible through a toll- free service- the new facet of an Organ Donation Helpline in India”
Ms. Pallavi Kumar made a presentation on guidelines for “Organ Donation by Foreign Donors in India.”
