MOHAN Foundation was invited by Dr. Krishna Murthy, Chief Transplant Coordinator, to organize an awareness rally on organ donation as a part of Organ Donation Week by Jeevandan Andhra Pradesh on August 06, 2015. The rally was flagged off at Benz Circle and it proceeded to Parinaya Vedika near NTR University of Health Sciences.
Ms. Shanti of MOHAN Foundation coordinated with all the registered hospitals, nursing colleges, and volunteers and requested them to participate in the rally organized to spread awareness about organ donation.
Mr. Veerapandian, Municipal Commissioner, Dr. Ravi Raju, Vice Chancellor, NTR University of Health Sciences, Dr. Krishna Murthy, Chief Transplant Coordinator and other dignitaries from Rotary Club and hospitals participated in the rally.
There were more than 200 participants that participated in the rally from various hospitals, nursing colleges, and other colleges. All the participants were distributed information brochures and donor cards.
We thank the Dr. Krishna Murthy for giving us this opportunity to organize the rally and all the participants for their active participation for this noble cause.
