On August 13, 2022, MOHAN Foundation was invited to a donor felicitation programme organized by Healthway Hospital, Old Goa to commemorate Organ Donation Day. Dr. Preeti Varghese, Joint Director, SOTTO Goa and Dr. Shital Lengade, Nephrologist, Healthway Hospital were the speakers.
Donor families shared their experience with the recipients. A touching story was shared by a mother who gave her kidney to her adopted daughter.
Gabriel John Pereira, MOHAN Foundation Goa Information Centre shared his personal story and showed motivational films to the group.
Close to 60 participants (transplant recipients, donors & hospital staff) attended the event.
