On 26 July, 2024, Bai Jerbai Wadia Hospital for Children, Mumbai held a 'Brain Stem Death Certification Workshop' at SM Merchant auditorium within the hospital. It was attended by 110 Doctors and Nurses of the hospital.
Ms. Jaya Jairam, Project Director, MOHAN Foundation was invited to speak on Grief Counselling and Coordination during Deceased donation. She delivered this training online and spoke on the 'Approaching a grieving family and Making the Ask' and she also touched upon the Role of a Transplant Coordinator and the activities that need coordination whenever the hospital has a potential brain dead donor.
