MOHAN Foundation conducted an awareness programme at Regional Transport Office, Anna Nagar, Chennai on 23rd January 2018. Mr. Siva Shankar, Helpline Executive and Mr. Raja, Transplant Coordinator represented MOHAN Foundation and spoke on the concepts of organ donation.
Since there were many people on both sides of transport office waiting there to get licence, parallel sessions were conducted. Brochures were given to all the people. Mr. Siva Shankar and Mr. Raja started the session with small introduction of MOHAN Foundation and explained the concepts of Organ Donation. There were 80 people in both sessions and 9 of them whole heartedly pledged their organs for donation.
