On 16th February 2018, MOHAN Foundation was invited by Ms. Archana Jagdev, NSS Program Officer of Government Model Senior Secondary School Sector-37 D, Chandigarh to conduct an awareness talk for their students at the NSS camp of their school. Approximately 50 students from class 12th attended the session.
Students were given an introduction & presentation on how important is Organ donation and tissue donation and too many people waiting for transplant by Ms. Aakriti Negi. The talk focused on concepts of organ donation and transplantation.
Explained the following points:-
It was indeed an amazing session all the students were highly motivated and said they will come forth to make it success in their areas. In the end they were also told that it is very important to tell your family about their wish. Also, helping people to visualize the lifesaving impact that organ donation makes on their community.
