Bharat Vikas Parishad approached MOHAN Foundation through The Association for Senior Citizens for an awareness session for students and coordinator teachers from 15 schools in Navi Mumbai during their Annual quiz competition on 10th September 2017.
Mrs.Jaya Jairam conducted the awareness talks. She shared a brief introduction about MOHAN Foundation and then she spoke about what is Organ Donation, why is it needed, who can be donors and the process of how organ donation and transplantation is done.
Many students were made aware. The Coordinator teachers from different schools were encouraged to take the Pledge and also take up the awareness initiative in their respective schools.
MOHAN Foundation wishes to convey its heartfelt gratitude to Mr.Vijay Kulkarni, the organiser at the event and Colonel D P Singh, Chairman of The Senior Citizen’s Association, CBD Belapur for extending their wholehearted support to the cause.
