On 2nd March 2016, the Mahila Mandal of Punjab Association had their monthly meeting and invitede MOHAN Foundation for giving a talk about organ donation to their members. Dr. Hemal Kanvinde Quality Assurance Manager and Ms.Sunitha Transplant Coordinator, represented MOHAN Foundation, Chennai.
Dr. Hemal Kanvinde started the session with activities carried out by MOHAN Foundation followed by a short talk on organ donation.
During the session one of the ladies proudly showed her MOHAN Foundation donor card to the audience that she has already supported the cause. It was the motivation for the women’s to pledge the donor card. 20 women were present at the talk and 4 took a donor card. Dr. Hemal Kanvinde thanked Mrs. Nirmal Bhasin president of the Mahila Mandal for organising the session.
