  • On July 31, 2025, MOHAN Foundation was honoured by Wockhardt Hospital, Mumbai Central, during a special event celebrating service in healthcare. The felicitation recognised the Foundation’s steadfast commitment to supporting transplant surgeries for economically disadvantaged patients through its initiative, 'Anudaan – Making Transplants Affordable'.

Since its launch in 2021, Anudaan has enabled approximately 100 patients from underprivileged backgrounds to undergo life-saving liver, kidney, heart, and corneal transplants. By providing financial assistance to those who cannot afford the high cost of these procedures, the initiative bridges a critical gap in access to transplant care—ensuring that financial hardship does not stand in the way of a second chance at life.

MOHAN Foundation has, since 1997, been promoting organ donation awareness and offering logistical and technical support to strengthen the deceased organ donation program across the country. Anudaan is one of the Foundation’s key recent efforts to expand access to life-saving transplantation.

MOHAN Foundation is deeply grateful to Wockhardt Hospital for this meaningful recognition and for partnering in the shared mission of saving lives through organ donation and equitable healthcare. Ms. Sakshi Kshirsagar and Ms Rajeshree Chandankar from the Foundation's Mumbai office, received the award.Around 100 people attended the event.
