On July 19, 2024, MOHAN Foundation conducted an insightful awareness session on organ donation for the NSS Unit at Western College, Sanpada. The aim of the session was to create awareness about organ donation, dispel myths and misconceptions, and motivate individuals including college students to consider organ donation after death. The session proved to be an eye-opener for many, sparking a keen interest among attendees to become volunteers and support this noble cause.
Ms. Prarthana Dwivedi, Public Education Counsellor at MOHAN Foundation, led the session at the NSS Unit campsite. She addressed various challenges, fears, and misconceptions related to organ donation through a comprehensive talk and presentation. Her discussion covered the following key topics related to Organ Donation
The session was attended by 155 enthusiastic NSS students, who demonstrated a strong interest in volunteering and supporting the cause. MOHAN Foundation extends its gratitude to Mrs. Nisha for inviting them to the campsite and for supporting this important initiative.
