MOHAN Foundation was invited by Mrs. Sujana Prabha to participate in the Mega Health Camp, Blood Donation & Organ Donation Awareness Camp organized by Vivekananda Seva Samithi on the eve of Swami Vivekananda’s 153rd Jayanthi Celebrations on 9th January, 2016.
MOHAN Foundation was provided a stall to interact with the patients that require attention and were seeking information on organ transplantation. There were more than 30 patients that have requested for information on how to get an organ and also asked about the outcomes post transplantation.
There were about 100 people that have come forward to pledge to donate organs and were provided donor card and information brochures. The school students of Vivekananda School came forward to support organ donation and were given information brochures and were explained about the organ donation. The school students helped us in distributing information brochures and spread the word on the stall.
We thank all the organizers of Vivekananda Seva Samithi, the young students that have participated and for helping us in making awareness camp a success.
