MOHAN Foundation Conducts Awareness Talk on Organ Donation for NCC Cadets and JCOs at NCC Academy, Ropar

  On 24^th October 2018, MOHAN Foundation was invited by the Commandant, Col. Rohit Thakur, 2 Chandigarh Battalion NCC, Chandigarh, to conduct an awareness talk for their N.C.C cadets and J.C.Os at NCC Academy, Ropar.

   

  The Group of Cadets were from Chandigarh Schools and Colleges. Around 250 cadets and J.C.Os participated in the program. The audience was given an introduction and presentation on Organ Donation and Brain Death by Mr. Sudhir Dewan and Ms. Deepika Arora.

   

  The main topics discussed during the programme were:

  • MOHAN Foundation activities
  • Difference between living donation & deceased donation
  • Importance and needs of organ donation
  • Brain death and its causes
  • Myths about Organ donation
  • Importance of Donor card
