  On 6^th July 2021, MOHAN Foundation was invited by the Secretary, Red Cross - Punjab, Chandigarh to conduct an awareness talk for their first aid students at Vivekanand Bhawan, Chandigarh. Around 28 students from various parts of Punjab participated in the session.

  Mr. Santosh Kumar, State Training Supervisor addressed.  Students were given an introduction and presentation on organ donation and brain death by Ms. Neha Sharma Katoch. In this talk she explained the following points.

  • Importance and need of organ donation
  • Difference between natural death, coma and brain death
  • Importance of donor card
  • Types of donations live & deceased donation
  • Role of MOHAN Foundation

  It was indeed and amazing session as participants asked various questions on organ donation. Around 28 people were present in the training hall and 15 of them picked up the donor cards. They would love to share their wish with their families.
