On 23rd March 2021, MOHAN Foundation was invited by the secretary, Red Cross - Punjab, Chandigarh to conduct an awareness talk on organ donation for their First Aid Students at Training Hall, Red Cross, Chandigarh. Around 12 participants from various parts of Punjab, Haryana & Chandigarh College Students, Patient Care Attendants, Home Nursing, Nannies and Bus Conductors participated in the program.
Participants were given an introduction and presentation on organ donation and brain death by Ms. Neha Sharma Katoch.
In this talk, she explained the following points: -
The entire group got motivated and convinced to support organ donation. Around 12 people were present in the training hall and 8 of them picked up the donor cards. They would love to share their wish with their families.
