MOHAN Foundation Attends Donor’s Prayer Meeting

  • On February 03, 2026, MOHAN Foundation, Uttarakhand attended a prayer meeting held at the residence of the family at Mansa Devi Gram, Barkot Range, Uttarakhand, to pay tribute to the memory of organ donor Shri Raghu Paswan. The invitation was extended by Mr. Deepak Paswan, nephew of Shri Raghu Paswan. Representing MOHAN Foundation were Mr. Sanchit Arora (Project Leader) and Mr. Arun Sharma (Program Executive, Uttarakhand).

     

    The meeting commemorated the life of Shri Raghu Paswan (42 years), who sustained a fall from the second floor at his workplace in Rishikesh and was later declared brain dead at AIIMS Rishikesh. In a compassionate gesture, his family consented to donate his organs, giving the gift of life to others.

     

    During the gathering, Mr. Sanchit Arora highlighted the importance of organ donation and its life-saving impact on recipients. He also addressed queries related to the organ allocation process and spoke about Government-led initiatives aimed at supporting donor families. On behalf of MOHAN Foundation, a Certificate of Appreciation was presented to the family in recognition of their noble and selfless contribution.

     

    MOHAN Foundation expresses its heartfelt gratitude to the family of Shri Raghu Paswan for their generosity and compassion. Nearly 50 attendees joined the prayer meeting to honor and celebrate his legacy.
