MFJCF organises Rangoli Competition at Government Nursing College, Jaipur

  • On the occasion of National Organ Donation day, MFJCF conducted a Rangoli competition on the theme of organ donation in the Government Nursing College on 27th November 2021. The aim of the event was to create awareness among students as well as sensitize others about the noble cause of organ donation.

    A total of 22 nursing students, divided into 6 teams, participated in the contest held in the SMS Medical College. The students made beautiful Rangolis showcasing the essence of organ donation.

    Dr. Teena Sawhney, Mrs. Kamla Chaudhry and Mrs. Rajula Loona from MFJCF were the judges. The winners were awarded mementoes and all the participants were given certificates.

    After the contest, Dr. Teena Sawhney, gave a talk on the importance of organ donation. She talked about how important it is to talk to one’s family regarding organ donation. She also talked about:

    • The organs and tissues that can be donated
    • How to pledge for organ donation?
    • How to spread awareness about organ donation?

    Around 30 students and teachers attended the talk. The staff and students of the nursing college were greatly inspired by the event and 20 students signed up as organ donors. MFJCF is grateful to Mr. Subash Jain (Administrative Director), Ms. Sunita Kumari from the Government Nursing College for their support in making the event a success.
