MFJCF convener was invited in the interdepartmental coordination meeting related to the National Organ Transplant Program at Secretariat, Rajasthan on 16th Oct.,2023. Additional Chief Secretary Smt. Shubhra Singh Ji, IAS announced, while chairing that The Organ Donation campaign will be further expanded across the state with coordination from various departments and public participation.
It is worth noting that awareness about organ donation has rapidly increased in Rajasthan in recent times. The Organ donation Campaign conducted on Organ donation day, was appreciated not only at National level but also by the World Health Organisation.
Approximately 1.43 Crore people took an Oath for Organ Donation on this day. The establishment of an Organ Transplant Unit has also been initiated in all medical colleges in the State.
