MFJCF Delivers an Awareness Talk on Organ Donation at a School in Shastri Nagar Jaipur

  On 5^th June 2019, MOHAN Foundation Jaipur Citizen Forum (MFJCF) was invited by the Secretary of Rajasthan Swasthya Yog Parishad in Jaipur to conduct an awareness programme on organ donation for their school teachers. Around 45 participants were present at the event.

  Mr. Govind Gurbani spoke about eye and organ donation. In this talk he explained the following points in detail:

  • Types of organ donation and who can be a donor
  • Myths and corresponding facts related to Organ Donation
  • Difference between natural death and brain death
  • Donation following natural death and brain death
  • Importance of the donor card
  • Registering at MOHAN Foundation to be organ donors

   

  Following the interactive session, the audience was motivated to support the cause and also have a discussion with their families.
