MFJCF- AU Bassi Awareness talk on organ donation at Faliyawas, Rajasthan, Jaipur

• On 20.08.2018 MOHAN Foundation Jaipur Citizen Forum – Navjeevan team conducted an awareness talk on organ donation with the help AU Small Finance Bank at Faliyawas Panchayat, Bassi Jaipur to make villagers and students aware about the noble cause.

  Ms. Kamla Chaudhary and Mr. Pavan Kumar Dubey represented the MFJCF team.

  Ms. Santosh Kanwar (Sarpanch), Mr. Hanuman Sahay Gurjar (Gram Sevak) along with 35 villagers and students of class 11 and 12^th attended the session and got the useful information about organ donation.

  Mr. Ashwini Sharma an Mr. Ravi Sharma were also attended the session on behalf of AU Small Finance Bank.

  Ms. Kamla Chaudhary gave a presentation and explained many things to audience like

  1. Difference between cardiac and brain death.
  2. Grief counseling of organ donor family.
  3. Organ donation in India and other country.

  Some questions were also asked by villagers which were answered by members.

  1. If my family member is against my decision then organ donation will happen or not?
  2. After my donation who will get my organs?
  3. Does family member of organ donor get priority when they are in need of organ transplant?

  After the program 27 villagers picked up the donor cards and promised to spread awareness organ donation.
