On 27.08.2018 MOHAN Foundation Jaipur Citizen Forum- Navjeevan team conducted an awareness talk on organ donation at Khatepura Panchayat, Bassi , Jaipur to motivate villagers about the noble cause of organ donation.
Ms. Rajula Loona and Mr. Pavan Kumar Dubey represented the MFJCF team. Mr. Krishna (Sarpanch) and Mr. Deepak (Gram Sevak) along with 30 villagers welcomed MFJCF members and invited Ms. Rajula Loona to deliver the talk.
A Knowledge full presentation was given by Ms. Rajula and she covered following things.
1. Concept of Cardiac and Brain death.
2. Transplant of Human Organs Act 1994.
3. Grief counseling of family members of deceased.
Some questions were also asked by villagers and answered by MFJCF members.
1. How long it will take to get back in normal life after a liver transplant?
2. How many people have donated their organs after declaring brain dead?
3. How you people come to know that I am passed away?
At the end of the program 25 people picked up donor cards to pledge for their organs and all villagers posed with organ donation message board for the photographs.
