MFJCF- AU Awareness talk on Organ Donation at S.S. Jain Subodh Senior Secondary School, Jaipur, Rajasthan

  • On 12 January 2019 MOHAN Foundation Jaipur Citizen Forum- Navjeevan team conducted an awareness talk on Organ Donation at S.S. Jain Subodh Senior Secondary School, Jaipur, Rajasthan with the help of AU Small Finance Bank.

    S.S.Jain Subodh Senior Secondary School is a Hindi Medium School which is the oldest unit and the foundation of the esteemed S.S.Jain Subodh Shiksha Samiti. Established in 1918 the School has lived up to the expectations and is all set to celebrate its 100 years of a glorious journey.

    The School has prospered into a reputed institution situated in the heart of the city. It has witnessed visits of the high profile dignitaries like the then Vice President Late Dr. Radhakrishnan, then Presidents Late Fakhruddin Ali Ahmed and Late Dr. Shankar Dayal Sharma during silver jubilee, Golden Jubilee and Diamond Jubilee celebrations respectively.

    Mr. PC Jain and Mr. Pavan Kumar Dubey from MFJCF attended the session.

    Mrs. Sudha Kumari Sharma (Principal) along with 200 students welcomed MFJCF team members and got sensitized about the noble cause. 

    Mr. PC Jain gave a wonderful presentation and covered following points.

    1. Concept of organ donation.

    2. Brain Death.

    3. Donor Stories of organ donor

    Some questions were asked and answered by MFJCF team members.

    1.  Can we donate our body after organ donation?

    2. How can we promote organ donation?

    3. Is there any policy for organ donor family to provide financial help?

     

    After the session all the students posed with organ donation message board and banners for the photographs and promised to spread the awareness among friends and family.
