MFJCF- AU Awareness talk on Organ Donation at High Court Bar Association, Jaipur, Rajasthan

  • On 27 September 2018 MOHAN Foundation Jaipur Citizen Forum- Navjeevan team conducted an awareness talk on Organ Donation at High Court Bar Association, Jaipur, Rajasthan with the help of AU Small Finance Bank.

    The Rajasthan High Court is the High Court of the State of Rajasthan. It was established on 21 June 1949 under the Rajasthan High Court ordinance, 1949. The seat of the court is at Jodhpur. The court is at Jodhpur. The court has a sanctioned Judge strength of 50.  

    Dr. Amla Batra and Mr. Roshan Bahadur represented the MFJCF team.

    Mrs. Preeti Agarwal along with 50 advocates welcomed MFJCF team members and invited Dr. Amla Batra to deliver the talk. 

    Dr. Anla Batra gave a knowledge full presentation and covered following points.

    1. Organ donation after brain death.

    2. Causes of brain death.

    3. Myths about the organ donation.

    Some questions were asked and answered by MFJCF team members.

    1. How can we pledge for our organs?

    2. Who declares patient to brain dead?

    3. Does organ donation only possible when we are alive?

     

    After the session all took donor cards and posed with organ donation message board and banners for the photographs and promised to spread the awareness among friends and family.
