Every year under the auspicious leadership of T.S Gopalan, a group of Eminent HR Professionals, Lawyers and Judges do something different for a NGO. This year they decided to enlighten themselves with the Concepts of Organ Donation. The team invited Mr Xavier and MOHAN Foundation to throw light on the topic on 2nd Oct 2017 at the venue near Mayajal on ECR road.
Mr. Vincent introduced Mr. Xavier of Grace Foundation and Mr. Deenadyalan introduced MOHAN Foundation and Dr. Hemal. The 50 audience were given a green ribbons to wear, information brochures and books on organ donation. Mr Xavier explained the concepts of organ donation and started by recalling the story of Hitendran. Post the talk, Dr. Hemal Kanvinde highlighted the work of MOHAN Foundation, clarified questions on myths of Organ Donation and brain death. The discussion was on disfigurement of body, return of body and need for a post mortem.
About 10 eminent leaders of India, took Donors Card and enrolled their names for Organ Donation. They also promised to take the message forward in their work environment.
What a better way to start the “ Joy of Giving” Dhan Utsav. MOHAN Foundation thanks T.S.Gopalan and TSG Anand for promoting organ donation and hosting the 41st event and Mr. Deenadyalan for inviting MOHAN Foundation.
