Honoring Donor Family with VIP Passes during First IPL 2025 Match in Jaipur

  • MFJCF, with the strong support of Mr. Neeraj K. Pawan, IAS, President of the Rajasthan Sports Council, took a heartfelt initiative to honor organ donor families during the IPL 2025 matches held in Jaipur at SMS Stadium.

    On 13th April 2025, during the first IPL match of the season, the family of Mohit — Rajasthan’s first deceased organ donor — was honored with special category VIP passes. In a significant and emotional gesture, Mr. Neeraj K. Pawan, IAS, personally met and interacted with Mohit's family during the match, expressing deep gratitude for their life-saving contribution.

    Continuing this initiative, on 19th April 2025, during another IPL match at the SMS Stadium, the family of Swati Khandal — another deceased donor — was similarly honored with VIP passes. Their contribution to the noble cause of organ donation was recognized in front of a large audience, sending a powerful message about the importance of organ donation and the lasting legacy left by donors.

    Through these public recognitions, MFJCF and the Rajasthan Sports Council aimed to highlight the heroism of donor families, encourage conversations around organ donation, and inspire more people to pledge their organs for saving lives.
