  An Education programme on organ donation was organized at Bharathi Vidya Bhavan High School, Amberpet, Hyderabad for the students of 6^th std - 10^th std on August 8^th 2013. About 80 students, Teachers and Lions club members participated.
  
  The programme was organized in association with Lions club, Himayat Nagar. Students were very active and raised many technical questions like

  
  a) Can organs/dead person moved between districts

  
  b) What kind of precautions to be taken by Transplant patients?

  
  c) In which solutions organs would be preserved and for how long?
  
  The prizes were distributed to the students who raised some brilliant questions.
  
  Ms.Hemalatha delivered the lecture. Other dignitaries present for the programme were Ln. Vijayalakshmi, Ln Sumitha Ananth, Ln B M Sharma, Ln Veerandra Domodia, Ln Chandramma. Information brochures were distributed to the students and all teachers picked up the donor card.
