On 21st April 2012, Life Style, Alwarpet invited MOHAN Foundation for an awareness talk on Organ Donation. About 25 employees from various departments took part in the programme.
Ms.Veena, Transplant Coordinator briefed them about organ donation and its’ importance. The concept of brain death was explained to them. The organs and tissues that can be donated by a person after brain death and cardiac death were enumerated during the talk. On the whole, the programme was an eye opener for many of the participants.
After the talk, all the staff members pledged for Organ Donation. They admired MOHAN Foundation for its extraordinary work rendered to the society.
