On 5th August2017, MOHAN Foundation Chandigarh was invited by the Principal, D.P.S. Chandigarh for an Inter DPS Cultural evening. 17 Schools participated in the Classical Dance Performances.
Theme for The Performance by Delhi Public School was Organ Donation (अंग दान, महां दान). The performance highlighted that what Organs one can donate and that one can’t take one’s organs to heaven, better to donate and save many lives. Each Dancer had MF Logo and various organs painted on the hands. It was a very moving and motivating presentation by DPS Students. Audience was enthralled by the idea, composition and presentation of the theme.
This was adjudged as the best performance and selected for nationals.
Thanks to Mrs. Reema Dewan, Principal and Director, Delhi Public Schools, Chandigarh & Mohali, for highlighting this noble cause on the eve of Organ Donation Day.
