On April 02, 2025 an awareness session on organ donation was organized for the staff of Cloud Nine Hospital, Thoraipakkam, Chennai. The audience were ambulance drivers, administration staff and housekeeping staff.
Mr Ganesh C, Marketing Coordinator, opened the session with a short film “Donor” by AL Vijay and asked the views of the office staff. He then discussed brain death, organ donation, myths, how to register as an organ recipient, how to avoid frauds, and how to use the organ donation helpline 1800 103 7100.
To get the audience interested, a quiz based on Tamil films was conducted after the session. Two employees who had first-hand knowledge of CKD in their families were among the audience. They made the session very genuine and important by coming up to share their stories.
23 members participated and 14 picked up donor cards, MOHAN Foundation extends its warm gratitude toward Cloud Nine Hospital for the opportunity.
