On the occasion of BJP Vice-president Akash bhau Wankhede’s birthday on 22th March, 2017 MOHAN Foundation was invited to conduct organ donation awareness program at his residence. Mr. Sani Chavan, the administrative officer of district BJP Vice-president’s office, Nagpur organized the event.
Ms. Kanchan Shewde organ transplant coordinator of MOHAN Foundation, Nagpur Center conducted the session with the help of brochures. She explains following points to the audience about organ donation & transplantation.

4) How to identified brain death patients?
5) Organ donation statistics of India & World.
6) Causes of Brain death.
7) Importance of Organ donation.
The BJP party members asked some questions like.
1) Is organ donation legal?
2) What is the cost of a liver transplant?
30 BJP members were present at the event and 20 signed consent form and took donor card.
