Nursury park Yog Parivaar celebrated international Yoga Day on 21st June,2024, with a three day Yog Mahotsav in Vaishali Nagar, supported by Nagar Nigam Greater as part of Mayor Dr. Somya’s initiative to transform the Pink city into Yoga City.The event aimed to break the World record for continuous yoga for 1500 minutes, with enthusiastic participation from citywide yoga groups. Mr. Ravi Kamra- MFJCF Member noticed that three teams of senior citizens from Nursary Park Yog Parivaar joined the record attempt. Dr. Somya attended and encouraged participants. The festival adhering to the theme “Yog for self and society” featured a mini musical show promoting organ and eye donation, led by MFJCF’s Bhavna Jagwani, Sujata Baheti and Amla Batra. Rotary Club’s Organ Donation President Rtn. Sanjay Baheti also attended, supporting the event’s message to maintain healthy and clean city.
Close to 500 participants to organize the event.
