  Dr. DM Hegde, president of Vivekayuga Foundation approached Mrs. Ranjini Shankar MS to conduct an awareness talk on organ donation to the staff and degree law students and staff of Soundarya College of Law bengaluru. On 13^th January, 2024 MOHAN Foundation conducted an awareness talk on organ donation to the staff and degree law students and staff of Soundarya College of Law bengaluru. Around 68 members attended the awareness talk.

  MOHAN Foundation was represented by Mrs. Ranjini Shankar MS (Project Manager) and Mr. Surya Prakash (Program Coordinator) MOHAN Foundation.

  The Program Agenda:

  2). Keynote Speaker: Mrs. Ranjini Shankar M.S. Project Manager of MOHAN Foundation, Bengaluru.

  3). Special invite: Dr. D.M. Hegde: President of Vivekayuga Foundation, Bengaluru.

  4). Guest of Honour: Mr. Keerthan Kumar M

  5). Presided by: Dr. B.P. Mahesha, Principal of Soundarya College of Law

  Mrs. Ranjini Shankar MS, Initiated the session with the vision and mission of MOHAN Foundation and Following topics were discussed in detail:

  • The concept of organ and tissue donation
  • The types of death i.e., circulatory death and brain death
  • Brain Death declaration
  • Myths and facts related to organ donation
  • Green corridor
  • The role of Jeevasarthakathe
  • Transplant Law
  • Importance of a donor card

   All audience participated enthusiastically and 66 members among the audience supported the cause by taking the pledge for organ donation.

  Then Dr. T.R. Kanmani madam, motivated the entire audience by encouraging them to educate the maximum number of other people about organ donation and also she touched upon the procedure has to be followed systematically, whereas all the audience interacted very enthusiastically.
