On 06.04.2018 MOHAN Foundation Jaipur Citizen Forum- Navjeevan team conducted an awareness talk on organ donation at office of Tankarda Panchayat Govindgadh, Jaipur.
Mrs. Renu Uba and Mr. Pavan Kumar Dubey represented the MFJCF- Navjeevan team. Mrs. Sajna Jaat (Sarpanch) and Mr. Bhagwan Sahay Sharma (General Secretary) along with 25 villagers welcomed members and attended the session.
Concept of organ donation and brain death was described by the MFJCF-Navjeevan team with the help of presentation and video.
During the program, some questions were asked by the villagers and satisfactory answers to all these questions were given by the MFJCF-Navjeevan members, like
1. How we can become an organ donor?
2. What is the difference between coma and brain death?
3. If someone is suffering from kidney failure and earlier his family member donated organs after declaring brain dead, will he get priority anyway?
After the session Sarpanch and General Secretary thanked MFJCF- Navjeevan team members to conduct such awareness talk and pledged for their organs. 20 villagers took the donor card and posed with organ donation message board “I SUPPORT ORGAN DONATION”
