Awareness talk on organ donation at Kshetrapal Hospital, Ajmer, Rajasthan

  • Dainik Bhaskar and Hindustan Zinc conducted an awareness talk on organ donation at the premises of Kshetrpal Hospital, Ajmer, Rajasthan under the aegis of MOHAN Foundation Jaipur Citizen Forum- Navjeevan team on 6 October 2018.

    KSHETRAPAL HOSPITAL MULTISPECIALITY & RESEARCH CENTRE is a new Inclusion on health care map of the country in the holy city of Ajmer at the very prime and easily accessible location at PANCHSHEEL NAGAR. The hospital has come up on 72000 sq feet of land area with more than 200000 sq feet of floor area housing 200 beds for providing ultra-latest super-specialty and specialty diagnostic and treatment facility. 

    Mr. Sampat Singh Jodha (CMHO), Mr. Ved Prakash Mathur (Retd Gm, PNB) also attended the session.

    More than 60 Nursing staff and doctors attended the session and got the vital information about organ donation.

    Mr. PC Jain and Mr. Pavan Kumar Dubey represented the MFJCF team. Mr. Monu Joshi from Dainik Bhaskar welcomed MFJCF members and invited Mr. PC Jain for the awareness talk.

    Mr. PC Jain covered following topics during his presentation.

    1. Myths of organ donation.

    2. Organ donation statistic.

    3. Transplant of Human organs act 1994.

    Some questions were asked and answered by MFJCF team members.

    1. Who can be an organ donor?

    2. What is the major difference between cardiac and brain death?

    After the session 60 people picked up donor cards and posed with organ donation message board.
