An one day organ donation awareness talk was organized by Dainik Bhaskar under the aegis of MFJCF Team at B.N. Girls college, Rajsamand on 11th September 2018.
Dr Aparna Sharma Principal B.N. Girls College, Dr Indra Singh Rathore Vice Principal, attended the programme. Ms Bhavna Jagwani (convenor MFJCF), Ms Pallavi(Mohan Foundation, Delhi) Dr Hivani Sharma represented the team.
Ms Pallavi was the resource person for the talk. Ms Pallavi introduced the concept of organ donation and transplantation. The concept of brain death was elaborated upon with the help of a video that cleared the difference between coma and brain stem death.
Ms Bhavna also shared story of first organ donor of Rajasthan with the audience. The session ended up with few question answer session and group photograph. Close to 300 students of B.N Girls College and Shreenath nursing college students attended the session.
