On 1.07.2017 MFJCF- Navjeevan team conducted an awareness talk on Organ Donation at Saint Anslems School, Mansarovar, Jaipur. More than 160 teachers attended the program and got the vital information. Mr. P.C. Jain, Mrs. Hemlata Shah Members of MFJCF- Navjeevan along with Mr. Sandeep Sethi, talk organizer conducted the awareness session.
Father Edward welcomed team members and motivated teachers to join hands with the noble cause for saving lives. MFJCF-Navjeevan members gave important information about the Brain Death and Organ Donation with the help of videos and presentations which was highly appreciated by the teachers.
Some questions were asked during the session.
1. Which doctors declare brain dead?
2. How much time patient has to wait for transplantation?
3. If parents of patient give consent than how much time will take for retrieval and transplantation?
All the satisfactory answers were given by members. After the end of the session all teachers took the donor card and posed with message board “I SUPPORT ORGAN DONATION”.
