On 31.05.2018 MOHAN Foundation Jaipur Citizen Forum (MFJCF) - Navjeevan team was invited by Nangal Kojun Panchayat Office to deliver an awareness talk on organ donation for the villagers.
Mrs. Kamla Chaudhari and Mr. Pavan Kumar Dubey represented the MFJCF team. Mrs. Meera Devi Yadav (Sarpanch) and Mr. Sanjay Kumar Sharma (Gram Sevak) along with 40 people welcomed MFJCF team members and invited Mrs. Kamla Chaudhari to deliver the talk.
During the presentation following points were covered.
1. Types of Donation
2. Procedure of organ donation and transplant
3. Myths about organ donation
Some qquestions asked by the audience:
1. Which organs we can donate after cardiac death?
2. How can we pledge for our organs?
3. Can we donate organs when we are alive?
After the questions answer session Mrs. Meera Devi Yadav thanked MFJCF team for conducting this awareness talk on organ donation at Nangal Kojun Panchayat.
40 villagers pledged their organs, picked their donor cards and posed with message board "I SUPPORT ORGAN DONATION".
