MOHAN Foundation was invited by Lions Club of Hyderabad East to give talk on organ donation at Balaji Bhavan, Hyderabad on 14th October 2012.
Ms. Pushpa Boob, President, Lions Club, Hyderabad East shared her experience on eye donation and her work with Mrs. Lalitha Raghuram in the area of eye donation.
Mr. Kabra, a senior member of Rajasthani Association shared the importance of organ donation.
The session began by screening a documentary movie on organ donation “Life beyond”. Then, Mrs. Lalitha Raghuram, Country Director, MOHAN Foundation, explained about Brain Death and concepts of organ donation. The queries raised by audience were answered. At the end, several participants came forward and took the Donor card.
