Organ Donation Ambassador Mr Kalpeshsinh Rathod conducted an organ donation awareness programme for the nursing staff and nursing supervisor of the Bhailal Amin General Hospital, Vadodara. This was done on May 12, 2023. 7 nursing staff were present at the session.
Mr Rathod spoke about the need for transplant, who and when organ donation can take place. There was a good Q&A session with discussion on brain death and coma, procedures for living and cadaver transplant, and the need for green corridor.
