The talk on Organ Donation was organized at Hindustan Petroleum, Zonal Office, Secunderabad on 31st August 2012. Around 30 executives and managers of the firm attended the session. Ms. Hemalatha, MOHAN Foundation explained elaborately on End stage organ failure, the disease burden in the country and importance of organ donation. The session was very interactive and all the queries raised by audience were answered by the team. Many came forward for pledging the organs by taking Donor card and also they suggested that organ donation at the time of brain death should be made mandatory in India like other countries.
