Mr. Sharad Jighkar, Regional Transport Officer, Giripeth, Nagpur invited MOHAN foundation to conduct an awareness session on organ donation. This was for drivers and was conducted in the training hall on 10 July 2018. The Central Government has taken out a notification about adding option of Organ Donor to the Driving Licence application form.
Mr. Bulu Behera, Transplant coordinator, MOHAN Foundation delivered a talk on Organ Donation. In his talk he explained for following points:

v Difference between Brain Death, Natural Death and Coma
v Myths related to Organ donation
v Deceased donation cases in Nagpur
v Transplant hospital in Nagpur
v Importance of Donor card, Helpline number and website
It was a very interactive session.34 drivers were present at the talk. 3 drivers signed consent form and took donor cards.
